In Rupert Murdochs Internal Investigation, the Embattled News Corp. is Changing Around Him | Business | Vanity Fair
Headquartered at secure and soundproof offices in London, the M.S.C. is overseen by Joel Klein, a former U.S. Justice Department official and New York City schools chancellor, and reports to Viet Dinh, another former Justice Department official and the author of the U.S.A. Patriot Act. Dinh is close to the Murdoch family and is the godfather to one of Lachlan Murdoch’s children. Dinh and Klein are News Corp. board members, but both have reputations—and ambitions—of their own to preserve. The M.S.C.’s work has been assisted by nearly 100 lawyers, forensic advisers, and computer technicians.
